Das Konzept soll eine saubere und emissionsfreie Alternative zu dieselbetriebenen Z\u00fcgen sein.<\/p>\n<p>Das innovative auf 26 Monate ausgelegte Projekt begann im November 2017 und wurde in zwei Phasen unterteilt: Phase 1 ist eine Testphase, in der die f\u00fcr den Antrieb des Zugs vorgesehene Brennstoffzelle in einer zug\u00e4hnlichen Umgebung an der RWTH Aachen getestet wird; Phase 2 ist f\u00fcr die Entwicklung der Wasserstoffdruckbeh\u00e4lter-Systeme vorgesehen, in denen der Kraftstoff gespeichert wird.<\/p>\n<p>In der ersten Projektphase sollen die Reaktion und die Leistungsf\u00e4higkeit der Brennstoffzelle unter wechselnden Betriebs- und Umgebungsbedingungen beobachtet werden.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr NPROXX wird in Phase 2 die zentrale Herausforderung darin bestehen, die eigentlichen Druckbeh\u00e4lter sowie den zugeh\u00f6rigen Montagerahmen und die Ventilstation zu entwickeln.
