Il y a donc de solides arguments \u00e9conomiques en faveur du remplacement du diesel par des trains fonctionnant \u00e0 l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne sans \u00e9missions de CO2. Et toute voie ferr\u00e9e qui n\u2019est pas actuellement \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9e est une cible potentielle pour un futur remplacement par un v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 batterie ou un v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>La plupart des syst\u00e8mes ferroviaires sont achet\u00e9s par des op\u00e9rateurs qui pr\u00e9voient un cycle de vie de 25 \u00e0 30 ans, ce qui renforce la volont\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9liminer les combustibles fossiles des nouveaux investissements dans les trains. \u00ab\u00a0L\u2019humanit\u00e9 abandonne le moteur \u00e0 combustion. L\u2019achat d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de train \u00e0 moteur diesel n\u2019a donc aucun sens\u00a0\u00bb, explique M.
