In-line evaluation of part quality and part performance in the production of Type 4 pressure vessels

NPROXX is a global leader in designing, developing and manufacturing Type 4 pressure vessels for the storage of hydrogen under high pressure. We believe that the role of hydrogen is going to grow massively in the coming years. Already today our products are helping our customers to deliver clean and efficient energy solutions.

Your tasks
• Supporting the production of series and development vessels
• Literature research on tools for process monitoring for the wet winding process
• Analysis of winding process regarding quality-relevant parameters
• Concept development for measuring quality-relevant parameters, e. g. camera or sensor-based
• Setup of test matrix and execution of tests on vessels to determine relative process parameters
• Evaluation of test results and feedback for improved vessel production

Your profile
• Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science or comparable
• Experienced in handling or production of composites is an advantage and desirable
• Good understanding of hardware (sensors), implementation and data evaluation
• A high degree of process understanding, self-motivation, drive, confident and determined approach
• A high degree of teamwork, motivation, resilience, thoroughness, reliability and analytical skills;
• Good written and spoken English knowledge and German.
